The Cork International Rally has mix of new and old stages, all of which are smooth but demanding tarmac roads. The rally was started by a group of enthusiasts who got together started to help marshal for the Circuit of Ireland, then in 1977 West Cork Rally was born.

The Rally of France takes place on a small island, which is just off of the coast of Italy. Corsica is a dramatic, mountainous island, with its peaks rising rapidly out of the sea. It's definitely a rally for the asphalt specialists and only a few non-French drivers have won in the past 20 years.

The International Rally of Yorkshire has been running since 1977. Back then they just used old farm tracks and airfields. The rally is now based at the Pickering Showground, the venue for the service park, rally show and super special stage, the compact event offers 110 miles of stages.

The Tour of Flanders or more correctly Omloop van Vlaanderen is based around the Expohallen building on the Roeselare ring road in Belgium. The route of the rally is compact being an all tarmac rally with long straights and 90 degree bends.

The Rally of Japan joined into the WRC Calendar in 2004, it took the place of the Asia-pacific Rally Championship. Manufacturers Subaru and Mitsubishi wanted a rally near their key western car market.

Northern Ireland BRC Rally
This rally uses the closed public roads around the farmland and idyllic rolling countryside of Northern Ireland. For 2010, the organising team are planning to return to the route and special stages based around the event’s 2009 home of Antrim.

Germany WRC Rally
The Rally of Germany was held in the Mosel region near a historic city of Trier. Trier is a beautiful city with many historic buildings, but most importantly there is lots of bars and restaurants. This is a pure asphalt event, but it has one of the widest varieties of sealed surfaces.

The Rally of Finland has been running for over half a century years and during that time only 6 non-fins have ever one it. The rally was first started in 1951 and was based on the rally Monte-Carlo regulations, a total of 26 competitors started the rally, 3 of which retired.

The Manx International Rally began in 1963 which makes it one of the longest standing events in the International Rally Calendar. In 2006 the BRC awarded the organisers the 'Rally of the year' title. The really runs both in the British Rally Championship and the Irish Tarmac Championship.

The first asphalt rally in 2010, Bulgaria represents a leap into the unknown. First run in 1970, Rally Bulgaria was the sole WRC candidate rally in 2009 and will be apart of the WRC after a successful period as a round of the FIA European Rally Championship.

Monte-Carlo WRC Rally
The Rally of Monte Carlo is the longest running FIA event in the World Rally Championship. The Rally first took place 96 years ago in 1911. The rally is set on tarmac roads with sheets of invisible ice ontop, on one of the stages it is known for the drives to only go 30mph.

The Rally of Cyprus has had a big change it has moved from may too late September. Cyprus is used too looking after big numbers of tourists so the spectators that will go will be well catered for. Last years winner was Sèbastien Loeb.

Rally of the Lakes
The Rally of the Lakes is the third round of the 2005 Pirelli Irish Tarmac Rally Championship. The rally started back 26 years ago when Billy Coleman won the rally in his Ford Escort RS. Last years winner of this rally was Derek McGarrity.

Italain WRC Rally
The Rally of Italy is based in Sardinia, which is an island that's just off the coast of Italy. The stages themselves are surprising fast, given their tight, narrow nature. Sardinia hosted the rally for the first time last year and has continued every year since then.

The Rally of New Zealand has changed back to the southern hemisphere. To win this rally you really need to have the best car control the roads are mainly fast out gravel roads. The weather also plays a big part in this rally so you have to pick the right tyres.

Circuit of Ireland
The Circuit of Ireland has been about sine 1986 and the stages is narrow difficult and challenging. The really more recently has become known as the Easter Rally Stages. The rally always a very good turnout with up too 170 crews entering including 25 WRC cars.

The Rally of Mexico has only been running for a short amount of time in the FIA World Rally Championship, the emphasis is focused on refining what we believe is a proven formula. Rally America, today known as Corona Rally Mexico, and was created in 1979.

Sweden WRC Rally
The Rally of Sweden is full of snow packed stages so snow studded tyres are necessary on all of the stages. Four have only been few non-Swedish drivers who have won this rally. Last year Sébastien Loeb won in a Citroën Xsara WRC.

The Galway International Rally this rally will be its 34th rally to celebrate the 34th rally. The rally has 17stages, which are slippery and challenging for all drivers. Last years winner was Eugene Donnelly.

Monte-Carlo WRC Rally
The Rally of Monte Carlo is the longest running FIA event in the World Rally Championship. The Rally first took place 96 years ago in 1911. The rally is set on tarmac roads with sheets of invisible ice ontop, on one of the stages it is known for the drives to only go 30mph.
