Rally Ypres 2005 - Overview
Overview. The Ypres rally has been in existence for over 40 years with an impressive list of winners both in terms of cars and rally crews. The rally is all tarmac (with a few odd cobbled sections) using Belgian country roads but does in places take the crews through the middle of villages.It has mainly Belgian competitors but has been a round of several British championships over the years due to its close proximity to England. The last British championship that had Ypres as a round was the British Historic Car Register Championship this Championship now uses the Tour of Flanders Roeslare(Belgium).
