Rally Tour Of Flanders 2006 - Home
The Tour of Flanders or more correctly Omloop van Vlaanderen was held on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of September 2006. The rally was again based in the Expohallen building on the Roeselare ring road. In contrast to 2005 when there was heavy rain before and during the event 2006’s weather was fantastic with hot and sunny weather throughout. The organisers of the rally were pleased to have Jimmy McRae on the event in a Porsche 911 unfortunately the car rolled on stage 15 and was not recoverable in time . The organisers charge €24 for a pass to all the stages.
