First rallies, first successes!
N°6 - Wednesday 17th March 2010The number of drivers putting their faith in Citroën to live out their rally dreams is increasing across all four corners of Europe.
The Citroën Racing Trophy was created in 2009 to cater for this demand, and since then it has proved hugely popular amongst competitors.
This second season looks set to get going under the best possible circumstances, with nine competitions planned for Belgium and The Netherlands, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania and Switzerland.
A total of nearly 100 rallies make up the 2010 calendar. Every month, you will be able to monitor the progress of the C2 MAX and C2 Super 1600 drivers competing in their national championships. For some, the 2010 season has already been underway for several weeks. Wins for Robert Barrable (Ireland), Hans Weijs Junior (Benelux), Ricardo Marques (Portugal) and Marc Amourette (France) demonstrate that the established order may well receive a shake-up.
The start of several other championships shortly will show whether or not this is a flash in the pan or a genuine new trend…
