BRC Challenge poised for Bulldog Rally of North Wales

The six round Championship, which has an innovative format allowing a choice of “overseas” events, has attracted an excellent range of competitors, Including competitors competing for the Kick Energy Fiesta SportTrophy (FST)
Amongst the entries are also several competitors with huge experience of ANCRO, BTRDA, and other National and Regional championships, many having class and overall titles to their names.
The depth of talent also includes plenty of unknown youngsters, the FST bringing at least one driver who has never rallied before. With that Championship already under way, the FST has an idea of who will be on the pace from early on, but the rest of the field will be brought together for the very first time on the iconic gravel stages in the North Wales forests.
A great mix of cars will be vying for overall honours too, although all the entries are front wheel drive, the range goes from production based 1400cc cars to 1600cc and 2 litre screamers.
The BRC Challenge gets underway on the 28th March and is all based near Lake Bala, about an hour south of Colwyn Bay, a mere four stages standing between the drivers and their goal of BRC Challenge victory.
