SOLBERG RETIRES FROM DAY ONE
Henning Solberg has retired on the road section to the first stage of Cyprus Rally. His Stobart Ford Focus was damaged after a collision with another non-competing vehicle.There were no serious injuries to the passengers of the other vehicle or to Solberg and co-driver Cato Menkerud but the damage to his rally car was such that, despite his best efforts to repair the broken parts, the Stobart team were forced to retire him from today’s competition.
