A fierce battle for Symtech Racing at the Rzeszowski Rally
The fourth round of the hotly-contested Polish Rally Championship, the Rzeszowski Rally, will take place this weekend entirely on asphalt: the favourite surface of Subaru Poland's factory driver Kajetan Kajetanowicz.

"Kajto" will be going flat-out this weekend!

Following the recent Karkonoski Rally where Kajetanowicz finished fourth, only three seconds off the podium, the Symtech Racing Subaru Impreza STR09 has been completely re-prepared for its next challenge at the Rzeszowski Rally. This event is bound to be an important occasion, as there will be no fewer than seven Super 2000 cars taking the start, as well as a handful of first-rate drivers in other cars. Furthermore, on top of the usual protagonists from the Polish Rally Championship - such as Bryan Bouffier, Leszek Kuzaj, Tomasz Kuchar and Michal Solowow - all the leading lights from Slovakia will be present. The Rzeszowski Rally is also a scoring round of the Slovak Championship, bringing added competition. Some of the top Slovak drivers contesting the rally include Jozef Beres Jr (Peugeot 207 S2000), Grzegorz Grzyb (Abarth Grande Punto S2000) and Igor Drotar (Skoda Octavia WRC).

Nonetheless, the tough opposition will not distract Subaru Poland's factory driver Kajetan Kajetanowicz in any way. "It's true that there are a number of people who could win, but it's always a question of taking each stage at a time," he said. "This is the only way to succeed. Once more, we benefit from the excellent work of Symtech Racing and from my point of view I'm certainly going to be trying my hardest again. This is an important rally for the championship, as after this weekend there will only be two rounds left. So we will soon have a clearer idea about our chances of taking the group N title in 2009."

Wim De Boeck (Symtech Racing) commented: "As usual, we have left nothing to chance. We have replaced a number of components on the car as a precaution, whilst continuing development. The Subaru Impreza STR09 remains an extremely competitive proposition and that gives us plenty of confidence heading into the weekend."

The Rzeszowski Rally gets underway on Friday 07 August 2009 at 10:15 and is scheduled to finish on Saturday 08 August at 16: 45.
