Ford's Flying Finns serve up an ace in Poland to top title race
Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen moved into pole position in the fight for the FIA World Rally Championship after victory in Rally Poland today.The BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team pair took a one point lead in the drivers' table after their second consecutive win in a Focus RS World Rally Car.
Twenty-eight-year-old Hirvonen now heads to his home rally in Finland next month keen to extend his advantage with four rounds remaining.
