Ford sweeps to 70th victory as Hirvonen nets Greek rally success
Ford claimed its 70th world rally victory today in the Acropolis Rally of Greece.Finland's Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen drove a Ford Focus RS World Rally Car to a 1min 12.9sec success on this seventh round of the FIA World Rally Championship.
The rally, held in baking temperatures and on rocky gravel tracks west of Athens, is regarded as the toughest round in the WRC calendar.

Ford's first WRC victory was in 1973 when Timo Mäkinen and Henry Liddon won Finland's 1000 Lakes Rally in an Escort RS1600
