Factory programme in Poland for Symtech Racing
The Belgian team Symtech Racing has concluded a deal with Subaru Poland to contest the 2009 Polish Rally Championship.

Symtech Racing has been in touch with Subaru Poland some time regarding its official programme for 2009 and it now concluded a deal with the Polish importer. The Polish Championship – which is well-known for the quality of both its entrants and events – takes in seven rallies. Symtech Racing's Group N Subaru Impreza STR09 will be driven by last year's championship runner-up Kajetan Kajetanowicz. The 30-year-old, who is well known for both his raw speed and his spectacular driving style, is set to make a real impact this year.

Wim De Boeck: "It's fantastic for us to start off the year like this! Not only do we have an official programme but we will also begin this collaboration in perfect circumstances with a driver who is really quick. We tested our new Subaru Impreza a lot last year and I feel confident in predicting that it will be very competitive in Poland. We already benchmarked the car with a comparative test back in February and we're very happy with the choice of driver, as Kajetan is not only very fast but also extremely popular in Poland. We hope to be able to reward the faith that Subaru Poland has placed in us with the best possible results in 2009."

The 2009 Polish Rally Championship season will get underway with the Elmot Rally (15-17 May). Symtech Racing is currently building a brand new Subaru Impreza STR09 for the event, fitted with all the latest developments.
