BRC to continue on Sky Sports
The MSA British Rally Championship will continue to benefit from Sky Sports TV coverage in 2009, the excellent programmes once again supplied by the Isle of Man’s Greenlight Television.

Not only will the main BRC events’ one hour programmes be available to around 500 million homes worldwide, but the additional half hour Rallyzone programme will cover the BRC classes, Fiesta Sporting Trophy, Swift Sport Cup and BRC Challenge.

Greenlight’s own weekly Motorsport Mundial magazine style programme will feature the Citroën C2R2 Cup and airs not only on satellite across the world, but also on the UK’s terrestrial Channel Five.

The Sky Sports programmes covering the main events will continue to be broadcast on the Monday immediately after the rally. The season preview programme will be shown on Monday 23rd March, while Rallyzone will be shown in the week before events two to six, not only covering the previous events’ classes, but previewing the forthcoming rally too.

All the TV schedules are posted on the BRC website HERE, updates for later events available about a month in advance. Five’s TV schedules are listed HERE.

The BRC’s popular audio interviews will continue in 2009 too. These are posted rallybrc.co.uk’s NEWS CENTRE Radio section on each of the events. The top three finishers and each class winner are featured at the end of each leg, as well as breaking news stories and interviews with teams and personalities.

The preview programme will be broadcast on Sky Sports 2 at 6pm on Monday 23rd March before the new opening round, Bulldog International Rally North Wales, which takes place on Saturday 28th.
