Ford Focus cars pack leaderboard on Jordan Rally
Seven Ford Focus RS World Rally Cars filled the top nine places on the Jordan Rally, round five of the FIA World Rally Championship, which ended today.Finland's Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen won for the BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team after three days of demanding driving near the shores of the Dead Sea.
Victory took Hirvonen back to the top of the drivers' standings - he has a five point lead with 10 rounds remaining. The team leads the manufacturers' table by seven points.
Team-mates Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila finished seventh after a final morning problem deprived the Finns of a podium position.
The Focus RS WRC, winner of the manufacturers' world title for the past two seasons, also finished fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth.
